The Sebago Boating Club Board of Directors exists to secure and promote the financial, legal and ethical well-being of the organization and to manage the club for the pleasure, recreation and other non-profitable activities of its members as well as to promote safe and fun boating.  It is also the goal of SBC board members to promote the appreciation and preservation of the environment and the State’s natural and recreational facilities.

Board members make a difference by: 

•  Participating in board meetings, committee meetings and special events. 

• Promoting the importance of memberships and adhering to the Sebago Boating Club rules. 

• Actively participating in the development of resources for the organization. 

• Staying informed about what is going on in the organization.​

• Representing the organization in a positive and supportive manner at all times. 

•  Bringing a sense of humor and active listening to my participation in meetings. 

• Working collaboratively with other board members as partners toward achievement of our goals.
